Richmond Area Representative of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan

Student Minister Tracy Muhammad currently serves as the Student Minister of Muhammad Mosque #24 in Richmond, Va. under the leadership and guidance of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Mr. Muhammad was born in Chicago, IL. He and his parents moved to Baltimore, MD in 1967 where he spent the next 30 years of his life. At the age of 16, Mr. Muhammad completed his General Education Development at the Harpers Ferry Job Corp and was accepted to West Virginia State College on an academic scholarship. After college Mr. Muhammad realized he loved to work with his hands and joined the Baltimore City Carpenters Union Apprenticeship Program where he received his Carpentry Journeyman Certification in 1988.

Also, in 1988 Mr. Muhammad joined the Nation of Islam at Muhammad Mosque #6 in Baltimore, MD. He became a fervent student of the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and wanted to share his new found knowledge with the world. Having a strong will and desire to do something positive in the black community to help service the community by fighting for justice, counseling and helping mobilize our people to become self reliant. In 1989 he joined ministry class in Baltimore,MD and served in this capacity for 2yrs.

Mr. Muhammad was then transferred to Washington, DC in 1994 to serve as the Student Assistant Minister to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Minister of Muhammad Mosque #4. During this time he assisted with the preparation of the Million Man March.

In 1997 he was given the distinct honor and privilege to serve as the local representative of the Nation of Islam as the Student Minister of Muhammad Mosque #24 Richmond, Va. During his tenure at Muhammad Mosque #24 he served on the the Slave Trade Commission Board and the Police Commissioner Neighborhood Advisory Board.

Out of all his accomplishments he is most proud of accepting the life giving teachings of the most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, marrying the love of his life Janet and the birth of his three children Tynetta, Taqqi, Taahira & grandchild Tacari Muhammad. Mr. Muhammad stands as a fine example and role model for black men and women everywhere and is an outstanding spokesman for the upliftment of Black people in Virginia.
